The Micro Vibration Sensor & Micro Tilt and Vibration Sensor

These sensors, based on the patented Sensolute technology, consist of a micro-ball of only 0.8 mm diameter enclosed in the sensor by several layers of superimposed silicon. This ball can move freely in the sensor and the slightest movement or vibration causes it to move, the latter then comes into contact with the two gold-plated poles of the sensor. The output signal of the sensor is in the form of pulses which can be analyzed by a related electronic circuit.

As soon as the sensor no longer detects movement, the electronic component can be considered as an open or closed switch (depending on the model). This technology makes Sensolute sensors particularly useful for carrying out standby / alarm functions depending on the movement of the module.

Thanks to its minimal dimensions (miniaturization), there is practically no limit to the application of these vibration sensors.

Sensolute sensors are produced in large quantities and their production procedures are patented, making them reliable and high quality products.

Unlike previously used mercury switches, the Sensolute micro-vibration sensor does not use any toxic substances that are harmful to the environment and is therefore RoHS and REACH compliant. Halogen-free vibration detectors are also available.
